It is a protocol that helps the body recover its natural testosterone production after a steroid cycle.
Why is it important?
It prevents symptoms such as low libido, fatigue, muscle loss, and depression. It also protects fertility. A duration of 4-6 weeks is standard. It can be repeated if blood work is not yet within range.
HCG (as a testicular “starter”)
Clomiphene or tamoxifen (SERM) to stimulate the hypothalamic-pituitary axis
SILYMARIN liver protector, and other supplements such as zinc, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids
Anastrozole in post-cycle therapy
Blocks aromatase → lowering the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.
Prevents the estrogenic “rebound” that sometimes occurs when discontinuing aromatizing steroids.
Leaves testosterone “free” and reduces the risk of gynecomastia, water retention, or emotional “crash.”
